Dear Black Men

I don't believe that the black woman is celebrated enough. Especially when there's brothers who believe that our natural hair is nappy and believe a woman of a different race to be more superior.
I mean seriously we've stood by our black men since the beginning of time.

We've bared your children, cooked your meals, cleaned your houses ,all while supporting you in your career even if it kept us in the dark. There would be no Barack without Michelle and no Martin without Coretta.

We are no longer apologizing for our coily hair or our full lips or why we are so quick to use our voice. Our blackness is no longer a burden but a force to be reckon with.
